Useful Links

This is an ever expanding collection of links that I have found to be informative, or that are tied into important resources that I use. I am in no way affiliated with these services, I simply have come to appreciate their contribution.

Embrace Autism

A site that has a good selection of self-administered questionnaires that can set you on the right track for a diagnosis or deeper understanding of ASD (autism spectrum disorder) and/or a host of other conditions. It is also a good source of information for family members or friends!

Mind (UK)

A great charity that provides boots on the ground support for those in crisis situations, signposts individuals to accessing psychotherapy, and assists with things like careers, family matters, and more. I highly recommend this service as a first step if you feel you are struggling or in crisis.

NOCD

A service and app that focuses on treating OCD, primarily through ERP (Exposure and Response Prevention). If you find that you are affected by unwanted repeated intrusive thoughts, compulsive behavior and rumination, ERP is often the way to find relief from your symptoms, so you may want to try this out.

Insight Timer

My preferred application for simple meditations like body scans and guided relaxations. Good for mindfulness, breathwork and yoga, among other things. Slightly annoying method of getting you to regularly meditate by sending you repeated nagging reminders, which feels weirdly non-meditative to me personally, but it’s still good to have on your device.
